Creating a positive mindset of growth

Diversity and inclusion are hot topics, but we’re all aware of the fact that it’s an enormous challenge not only to create a diverse and inclusive culture and communities but also to feel belonging because of past negative events such as bullying, racism or even negative comments made in passing. With Lady Diversity, you will learn to let go of everything that is holding you back at the root. You’ll learn about the role that your unconscious mind plays in decision making, and how it can obstruct the way you live your life. You might even learn about your own biases.

What is NLP?

The mind is the most powerful tool mankind was given. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a school of psychological techniques for better communication, to help you perform better and make positive changes in your life. NLP has been applied to a wide array of fields, such as psychology, healthcare, coaching, sales, education, coaching, and business.

People have been using NLP to clear out past regrets, release negative behaviours, kick unwanted habits, and to create positive and permanent changes.

Neuro refers to your nervous system, which includes the brain and the 5 senses.

Linguistic refers to the verbal and non-verbal languages by which you communicate.

Programming is the capability to structure your neurological and linguistic systems in order to achieve desired goals.

NLP can help you to:

  • develop reachable plans and take action in your life and career
  • improve self-confidence
  • control your inner state so you feel how you want to feel in any situation
  • understand the different personalities
  • develop rapport with other people and have great relationships
  • communicate effectively, one-to-one or to audiences
  • understand complex social situations and be effective in them
  • weight loss and weight management
  • help other people
  • spelling issues

What are CBT and REBT?

Left unchecked, struggles with self-esteem issues can escalate out of control. While everyone has their off days, when your whole life suddenly seems like one big mistake or short-coming after another, it’s time to break away from the cycle of defeat. If this sounds like you or someone you know or love, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) can help. In the world of psychotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy is a discipline designed to reverse the firmly held belief that exaggerated weaknesses and/or inadequacies that are dooming you to a lifetime of failure.

Cognitive therapy can help you to:

  • destroy destructive thought patterns
  • transform long-held, inaccurate beliefs
  • identify distorted thinking
  • restore and strengthen your self-esteem
  • revolutionise your reality

Depression stems from distortions in an individual’s perspective. Treatment begins with drawing attention to these distortions and discrepancies, then encouraging you to adjust your attitude accordingly.

Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) is based on the assumption that the majority of problems stem from irrational thought processes. This might include individuals suffering from perfectionism or pessimism. REBT offers opportunities to learn more about these distortions and ways to effectively eliminate them.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a revolutionary form of intervention that draws on various theories of  alternative medicine including acupuncture, NLP, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy (TFT). EFT offers healing from physical and emotional pain and disease. Without the use of needles, this form of acupuncture uses the fingertips to stimulate energy points or meridians on the body.

EFT is a very effective way of clearing out feelings, physical pain, trauma and fears. When the unwanted feelings, physical pain, trauma and fears are gone, the limiting beliefs that you held are released. New, more positive beliefs about yourself can emerge. You are then empowered to take charge of handling your emotional state because you can tap on a feeling any time you want to shift a painful feeling.

EFT works well for recurring problems as they aim to tackle the root cause, rather than simply treating symptoms.

Below is a list of issues commonly treated using EFT:

  • addiction
  • depression
  • fears and phobias
  • stress
  • pain management
  • anxiety
  • panic attacks
  • trauma and PTSD
  • anger management
  • weight loss
  • insomnia
  • some allergies

It is important to note that EFT is a complementary therapy and therefore should be used alongside medical advice for some illnesses.

What is Matrix Reimprinting?

Matrix Reimprinting is a way of using EFT with specific traumatic memories. Developed around 2010 by Karl Dawson in the UK, this technique has quickly spread around the world because of the profound level of transformation it delivers. When we experience a trauma (which means anytime we go from fight or flight into the freeze response), a part of us splits off to contain the unbearable feelings so that we can carry on and survive.

In Matrix Reimprinting we call this younger self an ECHO, which stands for Energetic Consciousness Hologram. It’s energetic in the sense that the younger self has no physical body. It lives in our local fields as part of the larger quantum field (the term Matrix was actually coined in 1944 by physicist Max Planck to describe the quantum field).

A traumatic event in your younger years is linked to a memory which may be linked to more memories and these negatively affect your present life.  In a sense you’re being hijacked by the past. This is why we sometimes have a disproportionate reaction to events. Or we feel intense emotions that don’t really make sense, such as fear or anxiety when nothing bad seems to be happening.

This experience can be confusing and scary sometimes, like in the case of panic attacks. We may worry that we’re going crazy, which just adds to the stress and fear. What’s really happening is we’re feeling the feelings of a younger self, often without even realizing it.

With Matrix Reimprinting that younger self becomes the real client. We heal the ECHO and your past is rewritten to become more positive, therefore having a positive effect on your present and future, giving you a new lease of life.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the practice of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. Unlike counselling, psychotherapy or psychology, which may involve looking at a number of issues in a conscious way, hypnotherapy often focuses on a singular issue and works with the unconscious/subconscious mind. However this doesn’t mean you risk losing control or that you can be manipulated to do or think things you don’t want to. At all times, when being hypnotised, the client actually remains in control and although very relaxed, is able to talk or get up and leave the room if they want to.

Hypnotherapy often involves a short course of treatment, with only a few sessions needed in some instances to address a particular issue. Some clients may need multiple sessions.

Hypnotherapy can be used to:

  • treat addictions
  • weight loss and weight management
  • treat chronic pain
  • reduce and eliminate stress
  • address sleep disorders
  • address childhood trauma
  • gain deep relaxation
  • treat behavioural issues
  • deal with suppressed memories
  • reduce and eliminate anxiety
  • reduce and eliminate depression
  • Reduce and eliminate fears and phobias
  • Quit smoking

What is Kinetic Shift?

Kinetic Shift is a powerful technique that helps you make meaningful changes in your life. It can help you build confidence and self-esteem and support you to lead a more fulfilling life, free of the issues that are holding you back. Kinetic Shift is active, intuitive, dynamic and energising. It isn’t just a technique, it’s the experience and confidence building that goes with it. Kinetic Shift is content free, so it’s not necessary to disclose the nature of the issue. This therapy works by addressing the deeper mind, and not the cognitive or thinking part of the brain that can conceal, suppress or even lie. Because we cannot always express how we feel verbally, it uses several other methods of communication which can produce transformational results.

Kinetic Shift is a rapid method used to resolve:

  • confidence and self-esteem issues
  • fears and phobias
  • anxiety
  • weight loss
  • smoking

What is Time Line Therapy ™?

Has anyone ever told you that you overreacted to a situation but you didn’t agree? Have you ever missed out on events, such as family gatherings, because of negative emotions? Have you ever set goals in the future and had them not happen?

Our past experiences and the memories that go with them affect how we approach present day situations. When preventing you from expressing ourselves in an appropriate way, these experiences and memories stop you from achieving the results you want. Time Line Therapy™ techniques can help you change all that.

Time Line Therapy™  is a process that assists you to:

  • let go of negative emotions from the past
  • let go of limiting decisions from the past
  • create your future the way we want it

There are three major techniques that comprise Time Line Therapy™. They can make a significant change in a person’s life.

Negative emotions:

Time Line Therapy™ techniques allow freedom from undesired negative emotions such as fear, anger, sadness, hurt, guilt by releasing these emotions from the memories that harvest them. You are then able to react freely to future situations, without the emotional baggage of the past.

Limiting decisions:

Limiting decisions and beliefs prevent you from achieving your potential. These decisions and beliefs have risen as a result of past experiences but tend to stay with you throughout your life. They may have limited your life in many ways. Time Line Therapy™ allows you to address these decisions and beliefs in the past and to learn from your experiences, thus enabling you to create useful and empowering alternatives.

Create your future:

Having resolved the unresolved issues from the past, Time Line Therapy™ gives you a specific way of creating your future dreams and goals in a simple process that produces results. The process involves using your imagination to create a compelling future that is inspirational and which brings about the desired outcomes.

What is Reiki?

The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy.

Reiki is a type of energy healing. According to practitioners, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.

Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.

Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for about 2,500 years.

People also refer to Reiki as palm healing or hands-on healing.
